NASA Rotorcraft Aeromechanics Intern
The NASA Ames Rotorcraft Aeromechanics branch develops new technology and performs research to further the field of vertical flight. This is anything from Earth based helicopter transportation to autonomous Martian helicopters.

For their internship, Iz developed confirmed ways to gather specific data on small scale rotorcraft blades. Because the complex geometry and material composition of blades, there was significant difficulty acquiring accurate data, such as elastic axis location. The testing methods developed during their internship have and will continue to inform design decisions for a multitude of vertical flight projects.
